GTMShip Agent — Privacy Policy

GTMShip Agent ("the extension") is a companion to the GTMShip
outreach platform. It runs outbound LinkedIn and WhatsApp actions that you have
configured in your GTMShip account — connection requests, messages, and
follow-ups — from within your own logged-in browser sessions. This policy
explains what the extension handles and where it goes.
The extension is only usable with a GTMShip account and an agent
token that you generate there. If you do not connect it to a GTMShip backend, it
does nothing and processes no data.
What the extension accesses and transmits
- Your GTMShip credentials — the agent token and backend URL
you enter are stored locally in your browser (
chrome.storage.local)
and sent only to your GTMShip backend to authenticate the extension.
- LinkedIn data (when running your campaigns) — the extension
reads from your logged-in LinkedIn session and transmits to your GTMShip backend:
(a) connections associated with your outreach (profile URL, display name,
headline); (b) inbound messages in the conversations it manages (message text,
sender name/identifier, conversation identifier); and (c) the delivery status of
connection requests and messages it sends.
- WhatsApp data — on
web.whatsapp.com the extension
sends the messages your GTMShip campaign specifies and reports their delivery
status. Recipient numbers and message text are provided by your GTMShip backend;
they are not collected from your device.
- Diagnostics — a local, in-browser log of the extension's own
actions and errors, kept for troubleshooting and exportable by you from the
extension popup. It stays on your device unless you choose to share it.
What the extension never accesses
- Your LinkedIn, WhatsApp, or Google login credentials or cookies — these stay
in your browser and are never read or transmitted.
- Browsing history, or any site other than LinkedIn, WhatsApp Web, and your
GTMShip backend.
Where your data goes
The extension communicates with exactly one server: your GTMShip backend
(https://api.gtmship.com). Data is transmitted there to operate your
outreach and sync results into your GTMShip account. The extension does not send
data to any other third party, and does not load or run any remotely-hosted code.
How the data is used
Solely to carry out the outreach you have configured and to reflect its results
(sent/accepted/replied) back in your GTMShip account. Some of this data concerns
third parties (your LinkedIn connections and the people who message you); it is
processed only to operate your outreach and is handled under the GTMShip platform
terms.
Selling and unrelated use
We do not sell your data. We do not use or transfer it for any purpose unrelated
to the extension's single purpose, and we do not use it for creditworthiness or
lending decisions.
Retention and your controls
- Data synced to GTMShip is retained and deletable under your GTMShip account.
- Uninstalling the extension stops all processing immediately.
- You can revoke the agent token from your GTMShip dashboard at any time, which
disconnects this extension.
